Holly Springs ranks #7 in Best Small Cities in America

Another accolade for our area has just arrived…..in a recent study by WalletHub, Holly Springs came in at #7 in the list of “Best Small Cities in America”!  Being the only city in North Carolina to make the list, the study also found that Holly Springs was tied in having the lowest poverty rate among the list of cities.  With only 900 residents in 1990 compared to now having over 25,000, Holly Springs has had rapid population growth, which goes along with the increased traffic.

During the study, WalletHub evaluated nearly 1,300 towns with populations between 25,000 and 100,000, based on 30 metrics, including housing costs, quality of schools and number of restaurants per capita.

Here’s the cities that made the Top 10 list:

  1. Westfield, Indiana
  2. Princeton, New Jersey
  3. Leawood, Kansas
  4. Littleton, Colorado
  5. Brookfield, Wisconsin
  6. Kirkland, Washington
  7. Holly Springs
  8. Milton, Massachusetts
  9. Brentwood, Tennessee
  10. South Lake, Texas
