The Triangle housing market remained active in 2024, despite high interest rates and limited inventory. According to Triangle Business Journal, 15,450 homes were sold across Wake, Durham, and Orange counties.
The average sales price reached a record-high of $556,041 in June, finishing the year with an annual average of $533,077. While rising home prices were tempered by a tight supply, sold listings were up 2% from 2023, showing continued demand in the region.
The Triangle market remains strong, proving it’s still a top choice for homebuyers.
